As 2014 winds down, like many of you, I have sat down and thought about some goals and aspirations for the New Year. Photography has always been a passion of mine, something that I have wanted to learn more about and pour my heart into. Photography helps me see the beauty all around me. I'm inspired by other people's photos and it gives me a sense of awareness of how big, diverse and beautiful life is. However, I feel as though I am lacking creativity and motivation to achieve and learn to the best of my ability.
So, in 2015 I have decided to take a Photo a Day for a Year.
I want to make photography an everyday occurrence while learning new skills. It also has the added benefit of forcing me to slow down and take a different look at the world around me. Admittedly, it's not going to be easy and there will be some days where I lack inspiration. It will even be hard to make it a habit of carrying my camera around and to look at the world at a different angle. However, I know that in doing so I will learn a great deal about myself, the life I live and the people I share it with.
I want to inspire through photos, learn through photos and create through photos.
